Entertainment & Leisure in the time of the Allegheny Portage Railroad

Park Ranger Sheila Holliday will present Entertainment & Leisure in the time of the Allegheny Portage Railroad on Saturday, June 4 at 8:00 pm in the Visitor Center theater. This free program will last approximately one hour.

Those in attendance will learn what did people in Pennsylvania for fun during the first half of the 19th Century, how they spent their leisure time, what kind of entertainment was available in America, and what role the transportation revolution played.
