Great Sand Dunes Visitor Center will be undergoing a renovation starting Monday, August 1. Flushed toilets and drinking water will not be available during construction but other areas of the visitor center will be open. Visitor center hours are 9am-12pm and 1pm - 4:30pm. The passport cancellation station will be available from 9am to 4:30pm in the Visitor Center lobby. Portable toilets and a hand wash station will be available and located in the visitor center parking lot. Flushed toilets and water fill-up stations are available at the dunes parking area. For more information, call the visitor center from 9am - 4:30pm 7 days a week.
