Today, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo thanked Singapore Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam for Singapore’s cooperation on the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF), including providing ideas on how to deliver tangible benefits and achieve high-standard outcomes. Secretary Raimondo emphasized her desire to continue to work expeditiously and make concrete progress. She also welcomed the upcoming U.S.-Singapore Partnership for Growth and Innovation (PGI) annual dialogue, which will be led by the U.S. Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Marisa Lago and Singapore Permanent Trade Secretary Gabriel Lim, and will take place on October 27 in Washington, D.C.
