The Energy Department's Office of Indian Energy, Tribal Energy Program, and Western Area Power Administration will present the next Tribal Renewable Energy Series webinar titled "Sandia Modeling Tool" on Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Presenters will explain what collaborative, stakeholder-driven modeling is, highlight how the models for the Sandia tool were created, and explore how they can be used. In addition, case studies focusing on potential applications for tribes will be presented.

The Energy Department will present a live webinar titled "Introduction to SAE Hydrogen Fueling Standardization" on Thursday, Sept. 11, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The webinar will provide an overview of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) standards and how they are applied to hydrogen fueling for fuel cell electric vehicles. Validated in the lab and proven in the field over the last decade, these standards provide the basis for hydrogen fueling for the first generation of infrastructure worldwide.

The Energy Department presented a webinar titled "Community Solar Scenario Tool: Planning for a Fruitful Solar Garden" on Wednesday, August 13. For the final webinar in the Do-It-Yourself Solar Market Analysis summer series, NREL's Solar Technical Assistance Team presents a new model that was developed to help municipal utilities, solar developers, and state and local advocates perform a "first cut" analysis of different community or shared solar program options. The Community Solar Scenario Tool allows users to see how various inputs, such as system size, location, and project costs, impact the economics of a project from both the consumer and utility perspective.

August 8: Webinar on Energy Project Implementation and Operations and Maintenance
