About 100 DOE Representatives Attend Hanford Safety-focused Workshop

RICHLAND, Wash. - Nearly 100 employees from about 40 DOE national laboratories and sites across the complex attended a five-day workshop in July for the Electrical Safety Group, part of the Energy Facility Contractors Group (EFCOG). The event was held at the EM Richland Operations Office Volpentest Hazardous Materials Management and Emergency Response (HAMMER) Federal Training Center at the Hanford Site and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. EFCOG promotes excellence in all aspects of integrating DOE facilities in a safe, environmentally sound, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
