Today, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo met with Indonesian Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto and Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita to discuss progress the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) and opportunities for bilateral collaboration. Secretary Raimondo thanked the Ministers for Indonesia’s support of IPEF and for helping to make the first IPEF Ministerial in Los Angeles a success. The Secretary and Ministers emphasized the need for maintaining momentum following the IPEF Ministerial as the IPEF Partners enter this new phase of engagement. Secretary Raimondo also underscored the need to prioritize developing concrete outcomes within IPEF and welcomed input from the Ministers.
