What:

The U.S. Census Bureau’s National Processing Center (NPC) is celebrating its 60th anniversary on Sept. 25, 2018. As part of this historic event, the NPC will hold a job recruitment fair for the 2020 Census.

The NPC has been the primary processor of Census Bureau data since 1958, and has assisted with data processing for the last six decennial censuses since 1960. Today, the NPC is a modern data processing facility with the latest in telecommunications and computer processing technologies. The campus hosts a workforce that continues to expand and contract depending on work requirements.

During the job fair, representatives from the NPC’s recruitment team will be available to answer questions about the application process. The purpose of the job fair is to recruit workers for temporary jobs in advance of the 2020 Census.
