Census Bureau to Announce 2020 Census – Get Out the Count Video Prize Challenge Winner

What:

The U.S. Census Bureau will host a live, virtual event to announce the winners of the 2020 Census “Get Out the Count" video prize challenge. Census Accelerate, an initiative within the innovation arm of the U.S. Census Bureau, will award a total of $50,000 to the top three most engaging, impactful and informative short form video submissions that demonstrate the importance of the 2020 Census, while encouraging viewers to self-respond online, by phone or by mail.

The event will showcase some of the over 750 submissions in more than a dozen languages that encourage hard-to-count communities to fill out the 2020 Census, including music videos, news interviews, animations and more. Complete versions of the top three videos voted on by a select panel of judges will be shown. The winners will receive:

* $30,000 - Grand Prize

* $10,000 - Runner Up Prize

* $10,000 - Student Prize
