The U.S. Census Bureau is launching a new experimental data product featuring modeled state-level retail sales. The Monthly State Retail Sales (MSRS) report will feature interactive state-level data visualizations that combine data from Monthly Retail Trade Survey data, administrative data, and third-party data.
Within the report, year-over-year percent changes are available for total retail sales by state and 11 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes from January 2019 to June 2020. Nonstore retailers are excluded from the report.
