Yesterday, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo virtually met with EU Commission Executive Vice President Margrethe Vestager to discuss ongoing coordination within the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC), opportunities for coordination on U.S. and EU CHIPs legislation and to further engage on technology policy issues. Secretary Raimondo stressed the importance of continuing progress within the TTC, particularly where artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and information communication technology services are concerned, as well as collaborating on addressing challenges in tech regulation. The Secretary stated that she looks forward to the 3rd U.S.-EU TTC Ministerial on December 5.
