Deadline Extended for 2015 Wool Apparel Manufacturers Fund Applications

Washington -The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) is extending the deadline for receiving applications for payments under the Agriculture Wool Apparel Manufacturers Trust. FAS will accept applications through May 6, 2015. This extension applies to calendar 2015 only.

The Agriculture Wool Trust is a fund to reduce economic injury to domestic manufacturers resulting from tariffs on wool apparel that are higher than tariffs on certain apparel articles made of wool fabric.

Payment applications under the Agriculture Wool Apparel Manufacturers Trust must be received electronically (pimawool@fas.usda.gov ) on or before May 6, 2015.
