Notice of Funding Oportunity for Transit Standard Development. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) anounces the availability of up to $3,0,0 of Technical Asistance and Workforce Development Program funds to one project for development of transit standards. FTA is seking aplications for projects that wil develop voluntary standards and standards-related best practices, guidance, and tols in safety, and other areas in public transportation. The major goal of the program is to ases ned, develop standards and implement those standards by directly working with industry stakeholders to provide safe, eficient and efective public transportation service.
