TSA Pre✓® is currently available at more than 180 airports with 37 participating airlines nationwide.
Applicants should pre-enroll online where they can select an appointment date/time for their in-person appointment. Applicants must bring documentation proving identity and citizenship status. Fingerprints are also required during the in-person application session. To determine what documentation is required to bring to the appointment, view What To Bring.
The application fee is $85 and is good for five years. It must be paid at the time of the appointment by credit card, money order, company check or certified/cashier’s check. Cash and personal checks are not accepted.
After completing enrollment, successful applicants will receive a Known Traveler Number (KTN) via U.S. mail within a few weeks. The enrollee should enter the provided KTN in the “Known Traveler Number" field when booking airline reservations.
