PLATTSURGH, N.Y. - The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is holding a one-day recruitment event on Tuesday, Sept. 10, to assist individuals applying for a job as a Transportation Security Officer (TSO) with TSA to work at either Plattsburgh International or Adirondack Regional Airport.
TSA offers a very generous compensation package, to include, a starting pay of $15.89 per hour, paid leave, health, dental and vision benefits, federal retirement benefit, matching 401K and satisfaction in knowing you are performing a mission that is critical to our national security.
The session is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 10, at One WorkSource Center, 194 U.S. Oval, Plattsburgh, N.Y 12903.
During the hiring event, TSA officials will discuss the duties of a TSA officer and the application process. They will also provide an overview of working for the federal government and discuss benefits, which include paid leave, health care plans for full- and part-time employees and 401k coverage.
