Assistant Secretary Medina’s Travel to the United Nations in New York

On December 8-9, Assistant Secretary of State for Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs Monica Medina will travel to the United Nations in New York. On December 8, the Assistant Secretary will take part in events celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Law of the Sea Convention. On December 9, Assistant Secretary Medina will deliver remarks to the UN General Assembly during the debate on resolutions for oceans and the law of the sea and on sustainable fisheries.
