Today, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo met with France’s Minister of the Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty Bruno Le Maire, who has been visiting the United States as part of President Emmanuel Macron’s official State Visit. During their meeting, the Secretary and Minister discussed his impressions of the trip, especially as they related to the engagements of the delegation of French businesses that participated in the visit. They also discussed the United States and France’s shared interests and goals for the upcoming U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council ministerial, which will take place on Monday, December 5.
