Public press releases: National Institute of Standards and Technology publishes six in November 2022

There were six press releases published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology in November 2022.

The most recent press release, "NIST Finds a Sweet New Way to Print Microchip Patterns on Curvy Surfaces," was submitted on Nov. 25, 2022.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology published eight press releases the month before, marking a 25 percent decrease for the current month.

The Institute was created in response to the proliferation of inconsistent standards for weights and measures throughout the US.

One of its many accomplishments is the creation of an experimental quantum logic clock. It will neither gain nor lose a second in four billion years.
