Memphis, TN - U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the capture of Reneisha Tribble for Aggravated Assault on a Tupelo, MS Police Officer.

Earlier today the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Reneisha Tribble on a warrant for Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer out of Lee County, Mississippi.

On July 12, Tribble allegedly physically resisted and fled from an Officer after she committed a theft at a retail store in Tupelo. She got in her car, put it in reverse, and knocked the officer down with the car door, which caused him physical injury. A warrant was issued for Tribble’s arrest on July 21.

The case was adopted by the Oxford, MS, branch of the Gulf Coast Task Force. Investigators with the Oxford and Memphis branches were able to establish that Tribble was at a residence on the 4000 block of Wesley Forest Place South in Memphis.

Earlier today, Task Force Investigators located Tribble at that residence and took her into custody without incident. At the time of this release, Tribble is in custody awaiting extradition.

“Violent fugitives, especially those who harm a public official, always take top priority for the U.S. Marshals Service," said U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller.

The Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) has offices in Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama. The West Tennessee office consists of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Investigators with the Jackson Police Department, Agents with the Tennessee Department of Correction, Investigators with the Memphis Police Department, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
