USDOJ-OJP-BJA grant application closes on April 4

The Bureau of Justice Assistance is offering a grant open from Feb. 9 to April 4.

The grant could provide up to $500,000.

OJP is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and racial equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety and protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community. With this solicitation, BJA seeks to provide grant funding to support the prosecution of violent crime cold cases where a DNA profile from a known or unknown suspect has been identified. Provided that a DNA profile attributed to a known or unknown suspect has been identified, this funding also supports investigative activities as well as crime and forensic analyses that could lead to prosecuting violent crime cold cases.
