Water is found in Capitol Reef National Park (NP) in the form of springs, seeps, tinajas, and streams. These water resources create unique habitats and represent rare sources of water throughout the otherwise arid Capitol Reef. There are only a handful of perennial streams in the park, but the smaller water resources-springs, seeps, and tinajas-are scattered throughout the park.
