Looking for somewhere to stretch after a long drive?
Many picnic tables and open spaces can be found on the grounds of Fort Stanwix National Monument. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch or grab some food nearby and take advantage of the grassy lawn and places to run and get out the engergy of being cooped up in a car.
Accessible and large capacity picnic tables can be found on the west and north lawns/trails of park grounds. All trash generated is "Pack in, Pack out." But trash and recycling bins are available at the visitor center entrance for small amounts.
And everyone is always welcome to play on the grass!
