The Gator Pond is located on Robert MeGhee Rd, which that connects to Park Road and will take you all the way down to the campground. On the side of the road is a small boardwalk that overlooks the gator pond. This is one of the best places in the park to see alligators sunning themselves along the bank. It also provides a great opportunity to take pictures of turtles basking and birds feeding. Parking is available across the street in front of the Nature’s Way Loop Trail entrance.
