ZAGREB - Today, on behalf of the U.S. and Slovak governments, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves and Slovak Minister of Economy Karel Hirman signed a Joint Declaration Concerning Industrial and Commercial Cooperation in the Energy Sector at the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy and Climate Cooperation (P-TECC) Ministerial.
Deputy Secretary Graves and Minister Hirman issued the following statement:
“The U.S. Department of Commerce and the Slovak Ministry of Economy are excited to sign this Joint Declaration on Industrial and Commercial Cooperation in the Energy Sector. This Joint Declaration, which updates our 2012 agreement, will foster greater bilateral cooperation between our governments and the private sector in the areas of civil nuclear energy, liquified natural gas, and renewable energy and hydrogen. It also demonstrates our joint efforts to achieve energy security and sustainability and accelerate the transition to clean energy."
