Richmond National Battlefield Park today announced that the Cold Harbor Battlefield Visitor Center (5515 Anderson Wright Drive) has been rescheduled to open on Saturday, May 27th, 2023. The visitor center’s previously planned reopening on March 1st, 2023, has been delayed due to workforce constraints. Area trails and the driving tour road will remain open and accessible to the public daily, sunrise to sunset.
The park’s visitor center at Chimborazo Medical Museum (3215 E Broad Street) remains open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 am to 4:30 pm, and the park’s contact station at Tredegar (500 Tredegar Street) is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. The Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site Visitor Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am to 4:30 pm. All sites will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
