Summary:The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is extending the comment period for the revised Chronic Wasting Disease Program Standards. On March 29, 2018, APHIS announced revised standards that provide guidance on how to meet program and interstate movement requirements. The revised standards addressed concerns of State and industry participants. The comment period has been extended for an additional 30 days - to May 30, 2018 - to allow the public additional time to prepare and submit comments.
