The United States Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) seeks public comment on the management alternatives, environmental impacts and other issues of public concern that APHIS should consider in an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for predator damage management activities in Idaho.
The EIS will direct how APHIS will manage damage and threats caused by wildlife such as bears, mountain lions, coyotes, common ravens and wolves. When completed, the EIS will replace APHIS’ environmental assessments on predator damage management in Southern Idaho, predator damage management in Northern and Central Idaho, and gray wolf damage management in Idaho.
