APHIS Invites U.S. Stakeholders to Comment on NAPPO Standards and Documents

The following Stakeholder Message was published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service on June 1, 2020. It is reproduced in full below.

Today, the North American Plant Protection Organization (NAPPO) posted on its website two draft Regional Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (RSPMs) and one Science & Technology document for 2020 Consultation (review and commenting). APHIS is inviting U.S. stakeholders to submit comments to PPQ on the draft NAPPO documents by the dates noted below.

For specific instructions and Agency points of contact for submitting comments to PPQ on the NAPPO documents, visit the APHIS website. Information is also available on the NAPPO website. Comments should fall into one of three categories: substantial, technical, or editorial. Please provide alternative wording and a justification for any suggested amendments.
