USDA Updates List of Locations Where the Public Can Send Unsolicited Seed Packets

USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has expanded the list of locations where the public can send unsolicited seed packets. We have also added options for submitting reports online to APHIS or the state departments of agriculture.APHIS urges anyone who receives an unsolicited package of seeds to submit an online report and mail their seeds to the designated USDA or state department of agriculture location in their state. If more than one location is listed, please select the location closest to your residence.Instructions for Mailing Seed Packets:If you are unable to mail the package, please contact your APHIS State Plant Health Director to arrange a no-contact pick up or determine a convenient drop-off location.
