A developer advocate shares her journey to becoming comfortable in front of a camera and announces recording videos for the Build On AWS YouTube Channel in an Aug. 8 weekly roundup post for Amazon Web Services. According to the post, they are seeking user and customer feedback.
"We’re focused on improving our content to provide a better customer experience, and we need your feedback to do so," Veliswa Boya said in the post, adding the company is asking the public to take a survey about their experience with the AWS Blog.
The videos, designed for developers by developers, aim to provide dynamic technical content, while AWS updates include the availability of Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise on Amazon WorkSpaces services, the opening of the AWS Israel (Tel Aviv) Region and enhancements to Amazon Connect, among other announcements, according to the post.
Boya noted it took her some time to feel at ease in front of the camera. She recently went to the AWS London Studios with a few team members to record a number of videos for the Build On AWS YouTube Channel, the post said. Build On AWS is designed for the technical, hands-on AWS cloud builder who wants to innovate more quickly and be more adaptable.
"In the channel, you’ll find dynamic, high-quality content that’s designed for developers, by developers," Boya added in the post.
She additionally shared some announcements and upcoming activities, according to the post. Amazon WorkSpaces services now provide Microsoft 365 Apps for business. A fully managed, trustworthy and secure virtual desktop is available with Amazon WorkSpaces on the AWS Cloud. You can increase IT agility and maximize user experience with Amazon WorkSpaces while only paying for the infrastructure that you really utilize.
Microsoft 365 Apps for Business are now accessible on Amazon WorkSpaces, the post added. If you want to operate Microsoft 365 Apps for business on Amazon WorkSpaces services, you can import your own Microsoft 365 licenses, as long as they comply with Microsoft's licensing criteria, and activate the programs for no extra charge.
Users may now safely store data in Israel and provide even lower latency services to users in the area, the post noted. This is so clients have another choice for operating apps and servicing users from data centers situated in Israel. Last week, the Tel Aviv region was inaugurated.
Amazon Connect made several announcements this week, including automatic activity scheduling based on shift duration, unique flow block titles and the ability to archive and delete flows directly from the user interface, according to the post.
