The Electric Vehicle Charger Reliability and Accessibility Accelerator, which was unveiled on September 13, 2023, is now open for applications. It will provide up to $100 million in federal funding to repair and replace the current non-operational EV charging infrastructure. In addition to this initiative, the Biden-Harris administration has also launched the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program, a $5 billion endeavor under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
