The 2023 C3E Awardees come from diverse backgrounds and have excelled in their respective categories. Some of the notable winners include Jameka Hodnett, who is known for her advocacy for climate justice, and Raisa Lee, an engineer and solar energy developer. U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm expressed her pride in recognizing this year's C3E Awardees. Their work, whether it's leading research or championing environmental justice, is expanding our understanding of the clean energy transition and driving transformative breakthroughs across America's economy.

The C3E Awards, now in its twelfth year, is led by the DOE and supported by prestigious partners such as the MIT Energy Initiative, Stanford University's Precourt Institute for Energy, and the Texas A&M Energy Institute. The program aims to foster women's participation, leadership, and achievements in the clean energy industry. Through this initiative, the DOE and its partners are working towards a more inclusive and sustainable clean energy future.
