Netflix has announced a new series titled "The Seven Dials Mystery," written by Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall. The show will be executive produced by Suzanne Mackie of Orchid Pictures and Chris Sussman. The directing duties will be handled by Chris Sweeney.
Suzanne Mackie expressed her excitement about the project, stating, “I am excited to be bringing The Seven Dials Mystery to life, and to be introducing a new generation of iconic Christie characters to the screen. It has been a joy to work with Chris Chibnall in creating this bold, authored and ambitious vision for the series."

To see her brought to life through the words of Chris Chibnall and this production with Orchid Pictures and Netflix is a dream come true."
The series is set to be the first production from Orchid Pictures and will commence filming in the upcoming summer. Chris Chibnall will serve as an executive producer through his company Imaginary Friends, while James Prichard of Agatha Christie Limited will also be an executive producer on the series.
Suzanne Mackie, the founder of Orchid Pictures, has a successful track record in the industry, having previously worked on Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series like The Crown. She established Orchid Pictures with the aim of bringing diverse and engaging stories to audiences worldwide.
Chris Chibnall, the mastermind behind Broadchurch and Doctor Who, founded Imaginary Friends, an independent production company focused on creating original and ambitious projects. His upcoming novel, "Death At The White Hart," is scheduled for publication in 2025.
