OneTrust, a provider of trust intelligence solutions, has become a member of the Responsible Artificial Intelligence Institute (RAI Institute), an international non-profit organization committed to promoting responsible AI adoption in organizations. The partnership is expected to facilitate OneTrust's contribution to the development of AI governance tools.
In a press release issued by OneTrust, it was revealed that the company's services include privacy management software. In May 2023, the company introduced its OneTrust AI Governance solution. This tool assists organizations in identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks associated with AI while adhering to regulatory requirements such as the EU AI Act. It also complies with industry frameworks like the National Institute of Standards and Technology AI Risk Management Framework and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development Framework for the Classification of AI Systems.
Jisha Dymond, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at OneTrust, emphasized the importance of responsible AI in contemporary business environments. The press release further stated that OneTrust supports initiatives like the International Association of Privacy Professionals’ AI Governance Center. It has also developed a webinar series titled 'OneTrust for AI Governance Masterclass' aimed at compliance and technology professionals.
