Netflix has announced that "John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In LA" will be streaming live on the platform over six nights during the Netflix is a Joke Fest. The show, created by and starring John Mulaney, will feature special guests and field pieces shot in Los Angeles. The debut episode is set for May 3, with additional episodes airing nightly from May 6 to 10 at 7 pm PT.
John Mulaney, known for his unconventional humor, is set to explore the city of Los Angeles during a week when many funny people will be in town. Mulaney, who is the host, co-showrunner, and executive producer of the show through his Multiple Camera Productions, will be joined by co-showrunner and executive producer Ashley Edens, along with head writer Dave Ferguson.
In addition to the streaming of "Everybody’s In LA," John Mulaney will also be performing at the Hollywood Bowl on May 4 as part of the Netflix is a Joke Fest.
This project marks a continued collaboration between John Mulaney and Netflix, following the success of three stand-up specials and a variety special on the platform, for which Mulaney has received Emmy awards.
The Netflix is a Joke Fest, produced in collaboration with Live Nation, is a star-studded celebration of comedy taking place from May 2 to May 12, 2024. The festival will feature over 300 live stand-up shows, special events, table reads, and sketches with a lineup of renowned comedians and artists from around the world. Various iconic venues in Los Angeles will host the festival, including the Hollywood Bowl, The Greek, The Dolby, and other historic comedy venues.
The festival lineup is packed with big names in comedy, including Ali Wong, Bill Burr, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Sarah Silverman, and many more.
