The Heritage Foundation has released new polling data revealing the sentiments of moderate Americans in key swing states regarding funding for Ukraine and border security. The polling, conducted by RMG Research, INC., highlights a majority opposition to sending more funding to Ukraine before addressing border security concerns in the United States.
Dr. Kevin Roberts, president of The Heritage Foundation, expressed that moderate voters in battleground states are more focused on securing the country's borders rather than increasing aid to Ukraine. He emphasized the need for accountability and a coherent strategy before allocating any more taxpayer dollars to Ukraine.
According to the polling results, three-quarters of moderate Americans in swing states would oppose proposals that prioritize Ukraine funding over securing the southern border. Additionally, a majority of moderates believe that the $113 billion already spent on Ukraine is excessive, with a preference for allocating more resources to border security.

The polling data indicates a consensus among respondents that the U.S. has already provided sufficient aid to Ukraine, with a minority believing that more assistance is necessary.
The methodology of the survey involved 1,000 Swing Voters in Battleground States, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Nevada. The majority of Swing Voters identified as politically independent, with a notable focus on border security as a top priority over further funding for Ukraine.
