Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo expressed her support for Singapore's transition to its fourth generation of political leadership during a meeting with Singaporean Minister of Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong. The two officials affirmed their commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation under the U.S.-Singapore Partnership for Growth and Innovation (PGI).

The discussion between Secretary Raimondo and Minister Gan also focused on the potential for collaboration to enhance semiconductor supply chain resilience and support Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises in participating in the digital economy.

Furthermore, both parties reiterated their strong support for the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) and the ongoing efforts to achieve tangible outcomes through the Framework. This commitment extends to the upcoming IPEF Ministerial meeting and IPEF Clean Economy Investor Forum scheduled to take place in Singapore on June 5-6.
