Navy officials have announced a series of new assignments for flag officers. Rear Adm. Heidi K. Berg will be appointed as the deputy commander of Navy Space Command and Fleet Cyber Command in Fort Meade, Maryland. Rear Adm. Nicholas M. Homan will take on the role of deputy director of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Operations, as well as director of the Joint Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Operations Center. Rear Adm. Kevin P. Lenox will serve as the director of J5 at U.S. Cyber Command in Fort Meade, Maryland.
Rear Adm. Darryl L. Walker will transition to the position of president at the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. Rear Adm. (lower half) Benjamin R. Nicholson has been selected for promotion to rear admiral and will be assigned as the assistant deputy chief of naval operations for Operations, Plans, and Strategy in Washington, D.C. Rear Adm. (lower half) Kristen Acquavella will become the commander of Naval Supply Systems Command Weapons Systems Support in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Moreover, Rear Adm. (lower half) Eric J. Anduze will shift to the role of deputy director for Joint Training at Joint Staff in Suffolk, Virginia. Rear Adm. (lower half) Kurtis A. Mole will be the new deputy commander of Joint Forces Headquarters-Cyber (Navy) and Fleet Cyber Command in Fort Meade, Maryland. Capt. Kevin J. Brown will take on the responsibilities of commander at Naval Medical Forces Atlantic in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Capt. Todd F. Cimicata has been selected for promotion to rear admiral (lower half) and will serve as the commander of Logistics Group, Western Pacific, and Task Force Seven Three in Singapore. Capt. Jorge R. Cuadros will be assigned as the commander of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Atlantic in Norfolk, Virginia. Capt. Marcos A. Jasso will take on the role of deputy director of Plans at U.S. Space Command in Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. Lastly, Capt. Cassidy C. Norman will assume the position of director of Joint/Fleet Operations at U.S. Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk, Virginia.
