Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nomination:
Air Force Maj. Gen. Jason T. Hinds for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as deputy commander, U.S. Air Forces Europe; and deputy commander, U.S. Air Forces Africa, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Hinds is currently serving as director of Operations, U.S. European Command, Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Germany.
