President nominates military officers for higher ranks and assignments

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III has announced a series of nominations made by the president. The nominations are as follows:

Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Stephen D. Sklenka has been nominated for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as deputy commandant for Installations and Logistics. Sklenka is currently serving as the deputy commander, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Camp Smith, Hawaii.

Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Calvert L. Worth Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as commanding general, II Marine Expeditionary Force. Worth is currently serving as the commanding general, 2d Marine Division, Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Army Maj. Gen. Gregory K. Anderson has been nominated for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as commanding general, XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Liberty, North Carolina. Anderson is currently serving as the commanding general, 10th Mountain Division and Fort Drum, New York.

Army Maj. Gen. Jered P. Helwig has been nominated for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as deputy commander, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Helwig is currently serving as commanding general, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, Fort Shafter, Hawaii.

Army Col. Terri J. Erisman has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Erisman is currently serving as staff judge advocate at III Corps in Fort Cavazos, Texas.

Army Col Christopher A Kennebeck has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and he is presently serving as chief of Criminal Law Division at Office of Judge Advocate General in Pentagon Washington D.C.

Army Col Steven M Ranieri has also been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general while he serves as executive officer to Judge Advocate General of the Army in Pentagon Washington D.C.

Air Force Col Lisa A Nemeth has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Nemeth is currently serving as Air National Guard advisor to the commander, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Lastly, Air Force Col Peter M Boone has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Boone is currently serving as chief of Programs Division at Office of Legislative Liaison in National Guard Bureau, Pentagon, Washington D.C.
