The National Park Service is seeking electronic comments on the significance of properties nominated before June 8, 2024, for listing or related actions in the National Register of Historic Places. Comments should be submitted electronically by July 8, 2024.

Comments are encouraged to be sent via email to National_Register_Submissions@nps.gov with the subject line “Public Comment on .” For those without email access, comments can be mailed to the National Register of Historic Places, National Park Service, 1849 C Street NW, MS 7228, Washington, DC 20240.

The properties listed in this notice are being considered for listing or related actions in the National Register of Historic Places. Nominations were received by the National Park Service before June 8, 2024. Comments are being accepted concerning the significance of these nominated properties under the National Register criteria for evaluation.

It is important to note that any personal identifying information included in comments may become publicly available. While requests can be made to withhold such information from public review, there is no guarantee that it will be possible.

Ohio:

An owner objection has been received for Fairfield County’s Church Hill Historic District in Connecticut. Additionally, a request for removal has been made for Spalding County’s Hunt House in Georgia.

Additional documentation has been received for several resources including Minnesota’s Oberholtzer Rainy Lake Islands Historic District; Ohio’s Union Baptist Cemetery; and Tennessee’s Winstead Hill.
