National Park Service seeks comments on historic places nominations

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

The National Park Service has announced it is soliciting electronic comments on the significance of properties nominated before March 23, 2024, for listing or related actions in the National Register of Historic Places. Comments should be submitted electronically by April 16, 2024.

Submissions are encouraged to be sent via email to National_Register_Submissions@nps.gov with the subject line “Public Comment on .” For those without email access, comments can be mailed to the National Register of Historic Places at the National Park Service office in Washington, DC.

The notice lists several properties under consideration for listing or related actions. Nominations were received by the National Park Service before March 23, 2024. The public is invited to comment on these nominations based on their significance under the criteria for evaluation set forth in section 60.13 of 36 CFR part 60.

Personal identifying information included in comments may be made publicly available at any time. While requests can be made to withhold such information from public review, there is no guarantee that this will be possible.

Nominations submitted include:

**Kentucky:**

- Campbell County: York Street Historic District (Boundary Increase)

- Fayette County: Schwert House

- Jefferson County: Wade-Braden District; Shelby Park Historic District; Irish Hill Historic District

- Jessamine County: St. Luke Catholic Church; Glass Mill Road Four Arch Bridge

- Perry County: Ritchie Family Home Place

**Texas:**

- Bexar County: Institute of Texan Cultures

- Gregg County: Greggton Commercial Historic District

**Wisconsin:**

- Milwaukee County: Lakeview Hospital

Additional documentation has been received for resources in Arizona and Kentucky.
