Meta AI, built with Meta Llama 3, is now available in India. The advanced AI assistant, already accessible for free across more than a dozen countries, can be used on platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram. Users can employ Meta AI to assist with various tasks including planning events, organizing trips, studying, and interior design.
"Thanks to Meta Llama 3," a company representative stated, "Meta AI is smarter, faster and more fun than ever before."
Users can leverage Meta AI for personalized recommendations. For instance, it can suggest restaurants with specific dietary options or provide ideas for road trip stops. Additionally, students can request the creation of multiple-choice tests for study purposes.
Meta AI also integrates into the Facebook Feed. When encountering an interesting post, users can ask Meta AI for additional information directly from the post itself. An example given was asking about the best time to view the northern lights after seeing a related photo.
The Imagine feature of Meta AI enables text-to-image generation. Users can create customized images by using prompts such as “imagine.” This feature allows for creative applications like designing birthday party invites or collaborating with friends on image iterations.
