Additionally, they addressed energy security and G7+ initiatives aimed at enhancing the resilience of Ukraine’s energy system amidst escalated attacks on infrastructure by Russia.
Secretary Blinken congratulated Foreign Minister Kuleba on receiving historic support at the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland and commended Ukraine's defense of its northern and eastern regions against recent Russian offensives. Secretary Blinken reiterated the United States' enduring support for Ukraine's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
