The U.S. Department of State is hosting the 2024 EducationUSA Forum from July 30 to August 1, 2024, in Washington, D.C., supporting the U.S. government’s commitment to international education. The Forum marks the third anniversary of the issuance of the Joint State of Principles in Support of International Education, which affirmed the U.S. government’s dedication to the exchange of students, researchers, scholars, and educators.

The event brings together approximately 500 U.S. higher education professionals from all 50 states and the District of Columbia, EducationUSA experts from around the world, and U.S. and foreign government officials. Representatives from various governmental departments including the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. National Science Foundation, and National Institute of Standards and Technology are participating in expert panels alongside alumni from the Community College Administrators Program.

This year also marks the 25th anniversary of EducationUSA, a global network managed by the U.S. Department of State comprising over 430 educational advising centers worldwide. These centers provide accurate information on the U.S. higher education system to prospective international students and educational institutions in more than 175 countries and territories.
