Threads introduces new features for content management

Today, new web features for Threads were announced, aimed at helping users understand their content's performance and streamline the planning process. These updates are expected to be particularly beneficial for creators and businesses utilizing Threads to connect with audiences.

Insights have been introduced to offer a deeper understanding of followers and measure post performance through various metrics such as views, replies, reposts, and quotes. Users can also track follower count evolution over time and access demographic data including age, gender, and location. This information aims to help creators and businesses identify what content resonates best with their audience and tailor future posts accordingly.

A new feature allows users to write and save multiple drafts of Threads posts before sharing them. Up to 100 drafts can be saved indefinitely, enabling users to post when ready.

Additionally, a scheduling feature has been added to assist in maintaining a consistent online presence. Users can create Threads posts and schedule them for future publication, allowing multiple posts per day to be scheduled days in advance.

Threads continues to evolve since its launch less than a year ago. In May, a new web experience was introduced that allows pinning columns for favorite searches, profiles, tags, or activities on the home view with real-time updates. The Threads API launched in June enables creators and businesses to manage their Threads presence at scale using third-party applications.

These latest updates represent another step in the ongoing development of Threads as it seeks to enhance user experience continuously.
