Since 2018, Netflix has brought Danish stories to both regional and global audiences. Today, Netflix announced that three new Danish titles will premiere next year.

From character-driven crime to a romantic love drama and a documentary following the life of Danish pop star Christopher Haugaard Nissen, Netflix is introducing a variety of new stories with the upcoming series "The Legend" (working title), the film "Mango," and the unscripted project "Christopher – A Beautiful REAL Life" (working title).

Netflix also shared updates from its Danish slate, including the cast for the upcoming character-driven crime series "The Habitat" (working title) and a first look at the upcoming film "Maybe Baby II," which will premiere later this year. Additionally, acclaimed Danish actress Sofie Gråbøl ("The Killing," "The Undoing," "Huset") and Katinka Lærke Pedersen ("Loving Adults," "Maybe Baby") will join the cast of the independent sequel to "Chestnut Man," which has just started production alongside Mikkel Boe Følsgaard and Danica Curcic.

Jenny Stjernströmer Björk, Netflix Vice President Content Nordics, stated: “I’m so thrilled to announce these fantastic new Danish titles today. It’s a wonderful mix of films, series, and non-fiction that I hope will excite our members. Danish creatives are some of the best in the world and we are proud to be able to partner with best-in-class production companies as well as incredible talent both in front of and behind the camera. I’m really excited about all the projects we have coming from the Danish slate in the coming years.”
