Meta has launched Creator Lab in India, an educational resource designed specifically for aspiring content creators. This initiative aims to support young people across India interested in content creation.

Since 2019, Meta has been investing in educational resources for creators through its Born on Instagram program. This program facilitates education at scale and consists of a community of creators engaged in learning more about content creation, unlocking partnership opportunities, and monetization avenues. The new Creator Lab will update the educational content on Born on Instagram by providing insights from experienced creators.

"We are dedicated to empowering creators to express themselves freely and succeed in their own unique way. We recognize that success means different things to different people, and we are constantly seeking ways to add value through product features, programs, collaborations, and economic opportunities. To support aspiring creators, we are now launching Creator Lab, a resource that provides content by creators, for creators. Our goal is to help creators across the country take advantage of this opportunity and achieve their goals," said Paras Sharma, Director of Global Partnerships at Meta India.

The content on Creator Lab features 14 diverse content creators including Aabir Vyas, Govind Kaushal, Meethika Dwivedi, Raghav Sachhar, and The Vixens Crew. These creators share insights around three essential themes:

- Expressing yourself: How to use Instagram’s new tools and features creatively.

- Building community: How to create meaningful connections and build a loyal following.

- Growing long-term: How to monetize your content and set up a sustainable career.

The content is available in English and Hindi depending on the comfort level of the participating creators. Future updates will include additional content captioned in six Indian languages – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, and Hindi.
