Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Affairs Dr. Ely Ratner met with Japanese Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Defense Miyake Shingo at the Pentagon to advance key alliance modernization priorities. This meeting follows the successful U.S.-Japan Security Consultative Committee (2+2) Meeting held on July 28 in Tokyo.
