The United States is providing a new $250 million package of urgently needed weapons and equipment to its Ukrainian partners as they defend against Russia’s ongoing attacks.

This additional assistance, provided under a drawdown from Department of Defense stocks, includes air defense missiles and support, munitions for rocket systems and artillery, anti-tank weapons, Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles and other armored vehicles, and other priority capabilities.

"This announcement demonstrates the United States’ enduring commitment to Ukraine’s self-defense against Russia’s brutal aggression," stated Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken. "This assistance will be deployed as quickly as possible to bolster Ukraine’s defense of its territory and its people. As President Biden has made clear, the United States and the international coalition we have assembled will continue to stand with Ukraine."
