Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met today in Paris with French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, and German Political Director Gunter Sautter. The meeting focused on various international issues.
"The Secretary emphasized U.S. support for the UN Security Council-endorsed ceasefire proposal and the need to protect civilians and increase humanitarian aid for Gaza," said Spokesperson Matthew Miller.
The ministers reiterated the importance of sustained support for Ukraine’s victory and discussed continued coordinated action on Iran.
